< Five reasons Robert loves ShareAnalysis
“It helps me make GOOD decisions. With ShareAnalysis I have a degree of confidence in my decisions that I never had before.”
Robert was one of the very first investors in Australia to become a ShareAnalysis member way back in November 2011.
When we got in touch with Robert to ask if he’d like to share his ShareAnalysis story he was very modest, telling us “after I've made my first million, I will feel qualified to pontificate on investment”. Sorry Robert, but we disagree. You know exactly what you want for your share portfolio, and you know exactly how to use ShareAnalysis to find the answers you’re after.
Here are five reasons why Robert loves ShareAnalysis
1. The stock rating system
"I rarely choose anything that is not an A”
ShareAnalysis’s A1 - C5 stock rating system interprets the quality of a company’s balance sheet, and its annual economic performance.
Top quality companies (they’re rated A) have little or no debt on their balance sheets, strong earnings and good cash flow. Each year high performing companies (1, 2) typically produce rising earnings, strong return on equity (higher than 15%), good cash flow that is higher than reported profits and they rarely spend more money in a year than what they earn.
If you’re the type of investor that doesn’t like to dive into company fundamentals, then ShareAnalysis’s rating system will be your best friend.

2. Pros and Cons points
"The Pros and Cons of company fundamentals (return on equity, cash flow, debt, earnings and dividends) tells me what I need to know.”
With the Pros and Cons you can find out the good and bad points about a company before you dive into its fundamentals. It’s a really fast way to approve of a stock for further research, or dismiss it so you don’t waste any more precious time.
Top-notch companies (they’re also usually rated A1 and A2) will have lots of positive comments. Bad companies will have many negative points, which are a clear sign that the company is in trouble.

3. 10 years of company fundamentals, presented in amazing visuals
"Seeing 10 years of fundamentals, and forecasts, means I don’t have to read annual reports. It also means I spend less time thinking.”
This is what sets ShareAnalysis head and shoulders above any other stock research tool on the market, anywhere in the world. Who has the time to read financial statements, let alone 100 per cent understand what the numbers are telling you? ShareAnalysis’s visual interpretations of earnings, dividends, equity, profits, return on equity and cash flows means investors can see a company for what it is: an outstanding performer or cash hemorrhaging destroyer of wealth.

5. Compare stocks side-by-side
"With company fundamentals side-by-side, it’s really easy to spot good stocks and dismiss the bad ones.”
Robert isn’t the only investor that has told us he loves ShareAnalysis’s compare tool<http://www.ShareAnalysis.com/help/compare/compare-options>. When the functionality was introduced earlier this year Mark said, “When Digital ShareAnalysis was released comparing stocks was one capability that was lacking. Not only have you restored the capability, but have taken it to the next level. I am sure this will be my new favourite view to perform initial stock analysis.”
ShareAnalysis’s compare stocks tool allows you to load up to 15 stocks and evaluate their earnings, dividends, profitability, cash flow, ShareAnalysis Scores and valuations side-by-side. Find out more about comparing stocks side-by-side.
Think of it like this… 10 years of financial statements, presented visually, for all the stocks in your portfolio. It’s an unprecedented way of evaluating the stocks you already own, and comparing stocks you’re thinking of buying. We couldn’t even begin to count how many hours it would take us to figure out and understand that information, without the help of ShareAnalysis.
